Account connection consent

This disclosure is intended to be displayed to users before or near the point where they connect a financial account through Plaid Link.

Short in-app disclosure​

By connecting a financial account, you authorize LineWise to access user-permissioned financial data through Plaid, including account information, credit card balances, credit limits, available credit, utilization-related information, statement balances, minimum payments, payment due dates, estimated closing dates, transaction activity, and related account details where available.

LineWise uses this data to help you use credit more strategically — optimize total credit line usage across multiple connected credit cards, providing smart reminders, estimated closing dates, payment planning insights, and suggested actions for monthly credit card activity.

LineWise is not a credit repair company, lender, debt settlement provider, or credit bureau, and does not guarantee credit approval, credit limit increases, lower rates, rewards, or credit score improvement. Credit scores are determined by credit bureaus and scoring models using multiple factors.

LineWise does not initiate payments, transfer funds, open credit accounts, or make payments on your behalf. You are responsible for verifying information with your financial institutions and making payments on time.

You may disconnect your financial accounts or request deletion of your LineWise account and applicable stored data at any time, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.

When you connect a financial account, you direct LineWise and Plaid to access and process information from your selected financial institution accounts for the purpose of providing the LineWise Service. Depending on your financial institution and the products available, this may include credit card liability information and transaction information through Plaid Liabilities and Transactions.

LineWise uses this information to help you optimize total credit line usage across connected credit card accounts, monitor utilization, plan around statement and due dates, receive reminders, and make more informed credit card decisions.

You authenticate directly with your financial institution through Plaid OAuth where supported. LineWise never receives or stores your bank login credentials.

LineWise may display credit card offers, product suggestions, or links from financial institutions, issuers, agents, or affiliate partners. If you apply through LineWise or an affiliate link, LineWise may receive compensation. Offer eligibility, approval, rates, fees, rewards, and terms are determined by the card issuer.

You can revoke access by disconnecting your account in LineWise or by managing connected apps through your financial institution or Plaid, where available. Disconnecting an account may limit or disable related LineWise features.

By continuing, you confirm that you are authorized to connect the selected account and consent to LineWise's collection, processing, and storage of the selected financial data as described in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
